The California Wine Club Presents Grgich Hills Estate

Miljenko “Mike” Grgich first earned worldwide recognition when the Chateau Montelena 1973 Chardonnay that he crafted won the 1976 Paris Tasting, beating the best of France and then revolutionizing the wine world. Mike then partnered with Austin Hills to open their family-owned-and-operated winery in 1977. Today, at 96 years of age, Mike is still actively involved with the winery and still loves meeting new friends in the tasting room.
